Pandemic Expat Life

Covid 19 through 2020 and now into 2021 has made travel home to Australia impossible which has strengthened our resolve to move back home to Australia within the next few years.

Christmas was strange, without our Aussie sons visiting!

There's usually 2 more people in our Christmas selfie!

But we made do with a Facebook video chat on Christmas Eve Denver time (Christmas day for the Aussie family)

That along with the death of both my parents in 2020 ensured we were eager to return home to Perth!

We were already eager to emigrate back to Australia before Covid hit and in 2018 bought a house in suburban Perth to retire to:

Matt is fifty later this year and plans to retire at 55.

There is a possibility of us moving to another country before then if the project he is working on gets funded, we should know more mid 2021.
