A day in the Denver CBD...

We caught the train to the city today to explore Denver's mile long mall, the light rail train station is easy walking distance from our apartment complex which is very handy.

It is no exaggeration to say that there is a Starbucks on every corner in the USA, these are the ones we saw on the 16th street mall today:

Starbucks number 1 - we bought some hot tea to warm up

Starbucks number 2 - still drinking the tea we bought earlier!

Starbucks number 3 - still got that tea!

Starbucks number 4 - still got that tea!

Starbucks number 5

Starbucks number 6

Starbucks number 7

But the find of the day by far was a 'food wagon' which I had read about online and wanted to try:
I had an Alaskan Reindeer hot dog and Matt had Elk, jalopeno and cheddar on his hot dog - they were really yummy and i highly recommend 'Biker Jim's' to any future visitors we may get!

Way better than a sausage at Bunnings back home;)

Brett thought 'Biker Jim's' didn't look very appetising so we went to the Rocky mountain Chocolate factory where he chose a pretzel stick - which is a pretzel stick, coated in caramel then iced and dipped in crushed nuts - it was nice, but not as good as Biker Jim's dogs!

Then we had the train ride back home and this is the view out the train window - the glorious Rocky Mountains, a view I adore and it is even better on a sunny day:)
