A day in Golden, Colorado

On the freeway today we saw our first true American bogan, the driver looked like the type of guy you'd see on American Pickers, Swamp People or some other tacky American bogan reality show. It was such a cliche we were quite amused.
We checked out the campus of the Colorado School of Mines, where Brett hopes to study Chemical Engineering in the 2013/2014 uni year. It is a lovely campus situated on the front range of the Rocky Mountains in a small town called Golden.
We drove up the windy lookout mountain road to overlook this beautiful valley and yes it was quite chilly, hence the coat, scarf and beanie!
And I did my first reverse parallel park in a left hand drive vehicle - i think I did quite well if I do say so myself!

On top of that i was pleased to see that after 5hrs out of the apartment Henry and Ebony had not gone to the toilet on the carpet, I think they have the hang of the apartment toilet training:))
Peeing up a hill, quite a skill!

Sniffing for rabbits is a daily event that was worth coming to Colorado for apparently.
