Doggie vaccinations

The first day the dogs were in Denver (3 weeks ago) they went to the vet for the first set of vaccinations, that day they had rabies and Leptospirosis.
Yesterday they had to go back for the Leptospirosis booster shot and Ebony needed a heartworm injection as well because here in Colorado they do that every 6 mths (instead of every 12mths in Australia), so hers wasn't considered current here, so she had to have a blood test to check for heartworm before being vaccinated. This picture shows her bandaged paw where they took her blood:(
And neither her or Henry  were big fans of having a thermometer shoved up their bum!!
After the thermometer thing Henry went troppo when the nurse tried to hold him so the vet could listen to his heart with a stethoscope, the nurse decided he was better behaved if I held/cuddled him and he proved her right, he was very brave standing still for his vaccination once I was cuddling him - such a mummy's boy LOL
 So their vaccinations are up to date now thank goodness.
