Friday night dinner at Joe's Crab Shack with fellow Newmont Aussies: Aidan, Chloe, Ryan and Dakota. Yummy food funky atmosphere - I loved the bit where all the waiters and waitresses had to dance for an entire song, they must hate their job.
Matt trying a Mexican beer at the mexican restaurant we had dinner at tonight. $3.99 for what we affectionately call a 'bucket' of beer. Matt says it is probably a pint. But it is certainly a lot of beer, lucky I was driving!
The drive home from a prospective rental property this evening, twilight over the Rocky Mountains, the photos do not do it justice.
Today was an adventure in many ways, the best bit was finally finding arrowroot in a Sprouts supermarket - I will be able to make Matt's Grandma's shortbread recipe for Christmas afterall!!!!! And the low point of the day was trying a Hershey's almond chocolate bar that seriously tasted like vomit, we really struggled to wash away that flavor after only one mouthful each, YUCK!
