Sea container of furniture finally arrives after 2mths

As I waited for the container to arrive I decided to review my copy of the paperwork and found that we have 90 boxes of stuff plus the furniture! Aaargh it will be a big few days getting organised :O I hope we can fit it all in the apartment today!

At the start of the day the apartment looked like this:
Living room

Dining room
But now the apartment is like a bubble wrap prank house, at least we fitted all the furniture into the apartment!

We did get off to a bumpy start early in the day though:
1. The moving men that came separately to the container were 1hr late
2. the truck carrying the container broke down, so that caused further delay!!!!It was 10.30am before they started unloading.
3. Then there was a lock on the container that the movers had to borrow a saw from a neighbour to cut off. Funny but crazy!!

Living room, at least there is a walkway!

Study - no walkway here!

Brett's bedroom no space for the new bed yet that gets delivered Tuesday!

We have 3 balconies, all of which have stuff on them at the moment, mostly non-valuable stuff from the garage at home that needs to be sorted out so some of it can go into our storage locker.

The kitchen

The dining room, can't wait for them to put my dining table back together tomorrow!

The master bedroom.
The big bubble wrapped wardrobes in the master bedroom picture were a challenge for the movers they even considered traversing the snow and lifting them over the balcony railing, but they managed to just get them in via the stairwell (we are down 1 flight)

Tomorrow the moving men return to unwrap and unpack our belongings which will be so nice, I can't wait for it to start to look like our home:) I also can't wait to take Ebony and Henry there tomorrow to see their familiar home things that will hopefully help them settle in to their new home.
