Matt passed his practical driving test this week so we are legally allowed to buy cars in Colorado now after 2.5 mths of driving a rental car! So today I bought Delilah the VW Beetle, I think she is gorgeous. Although both Matt and I found her a little challenging to drive today because she has a manual gearbox, we have driven manual cars our whole adult life but not left hand drive ones - changing gears right handed is a little weird. I have my practical driving test on Tuesday so I better get the hang of driving her by then.
We also drove to Fort Collins today where one of the states major universities is and we went to a State Park to check out some of the scenery whilst we were there. It was actually a lot more picturesque than the photos show. And the weather was spectacular sunny and 12c which almost felt like a summer's day;)
Matt should get his new SUV sometime this week as well, then we will be a 2 car family again at last.
