Starting to feel like home...

Our apartment and Denver are slowly starting to feel like home. Matt got his drivers license this week which means we can take delivery of our new car soon after nearly 3mths driving a rental it will be nice to have our own car again!! My practical test is next week (fingers crossed).

Brett has been busy finalizing college applications and i am trying to keep busy with book clubs, social clubs and a weight loss challenge group at my new Drs clinic. We also got our work permits from the Dept of Citizenship and Immigration so Brett and I are beginning to apply for part-time  jobs, because we are a little bored at times!

Matt becoming acquainted with the new sink;)

I have a theory: you can measure how much a living environment feels like home by assessing how comfortable the family pets are in the environment. So lets see how much our house feels like home??

Henry and Ebony were not allowed on the large 3 seater couch when we lived in Perth and they could only sit on our recliners if they were on our lap....
Henry getting comfy on the 3 seater couch

Ebony having a rest on the 3 seater couch  - boy are those cushions comfy

Henry wondering what the big deal is!

Henry on a rare occasion when a dog bed felt comfy

"What do you mean the couch is for people?"

But sitting on my lap on the recliner is still a favorite place in the evenings:)
So obviously we are settling in here and the dogs know this is home now.  And after their long journey to get here, obviously our dogs are more spoilt than ever before!!

The weather has been chilly and since we missed the Aussie summer and are having our 2nd winter we will be glad when spring arrives - pity statistically speaking Denver gets more snow in March than over winter LOL
