Two days in the life of a Colorado commuter...
Yesterday we had 17.5cm of snowfall and the maximum temperature was 3c. This was what my 20min drive to work looked like at 9am:
At least the ground temp is warm enough this time of year so that there is little accumulation on the roads, so they aren't icy!
Today it was still cold with a maximum of 4c but the sun was shining in typical Colorado style and it felt almost as though I were in an entirely different place. This is what the same 20 min drive looked like today at 9am:
So Melbourne may think it has 4 seasons in one day but it's got nothing on Colorado! I am beginning to love the amazing contrasts that spring here has to offer :)
P.S.
I can't help but rub it in to all those who battle the Kwinana Freeway back home on a daily basis - notice there is NO traffic on my drive to work! It is like this everyday on the roads i drive to work on :)))))))))))))
