Hmmm interesting motel...
We chose this motel for its proximity to Sundays Pride Parade route, since the parade is the main reason we came, we wanted to be close to the action. However since we got here there have been several things that have made us question that choice. When we checked in the lady gave us a map and coloured in about 6 blocks east of here ans said don't walk in this area because its a 'rough crowd' due to the homeless shelters. Then we got to the room and found this:
Yes that appears to be a blood stain, seriously! So we lay a towel on it so we don't have to look at it but each day the maid picks it up LOL.
And this is the elevator:
You can barely fit 3 people inside let alone luggage. There is also a stale smell inside.
Next to the elevator on the wall hangs this sign:
And this is our view:
The Rodeway Inn Civic Centre it is called if you'd like to stay here. On the bright sign it cost us nothing to stay here because Matt used points to pay for it!
