Superbowl Sunday

The Denver Broncos made it to the Superbowl, so it is a big day for us Denverites!!

I spent time this week making Broncos dog jackets for the dogs!
And a quilt and cushion cover for Matt:

It is icy cold outside, so we are preparing for an indoorsy day whilst we await 4.30pm kickoff time, this is the view out our balcony door this morning, yes that is snow trying to fall off the balcony roof and freezing before it falls:

It was was -15 celsius when we walked the dogs this morning but it is certainly a gorgeous sight!

There is snow piled on every branch, several inches in fact, they are very weighed down:

Henry even needed to be carried halfway on our morning walk because his paws got too cold:

Big sook gets a cuddle
He is actually shivering poor guy!

Ebony finds it a little hard to 'pick a spot' when the snow is up to her tummy:

But they love to get back inside the warm apartment and devour their breakfast after their morning toilet walk:

The sun is now shining so that snow will start to melt soon, but the maximum temp today is forecast to be 0 celsius so it won't completely melt away in the shade.

But perhaps it'll melt enough for us to be able to use the poo bag dispensers again LOL

Just when I was beginning to think the beauty of snow was a novelty that wears off, Denver turns on a show that ensures I remember how beautiful it can be.

GO BRONCOS!!!!
