Perth

These snapshots of our life in Perth were getting wasted sitting in a computer file, so I thought I'd drag some out each week and reminisce:

When we lived in Perth the first time around Matt was doing his Phd. at Murdoch University, it was about 1994 to 1998 I think. This was my 21st birthday, mum and dad actually flew to Perth (it was the one and only time (mum hates to fly). I was pregnant with Brett.

We bought our first dog Ebony, because we liked having Milo visit, she is a delightful little girl still who brightens our days

And getting Henry to keep her company, he is a rascal who wears us out, but he is loyal, loving and very precious to us.

So here we are half a world away from Perth and what feels like a lifetime away from those times, but it is fun to reminisce. Today is a perfect example of winter in Colorado, with a spectacular colorful sunrise heralding the arrival of a warm sunny day. Denver is enchanting, but Perth holds soooo many memories so I still refer to it as home quite often, I don't think that'll ever change we spent 11 + years there all up and TJ and Ben are still there so I am happy to call it home even though we love living here.
