Waiting

The problem with an addiction to adventure is that sometimes you have an involuntary lull between adventures and the wait is excruciating. Hubby and I are ready for our next midlife adventure but we won't know until July 2021 whether or not we are following his career to another country and a new immigrant experience!

At about that time we will officially have owned our Colorado home longer than any home we have lived in! We have put our heart and souls into this house and truly made it a home! We had the kitchen repainted and the main floor carpet replaced with fabulous high quality faux timber flooring:

Which made the kitchen the perfect display place for my antique Pyrex collection:

Most of the basement is my fabulous sewing studio:

And the living room is a cozy place filled with fun family memories 

We even revamped the side yard last summer to make a fabulous veggie patch! Here is a before and an almost complete pic:

6 raised beds, a watering system, 2 potting benches, 2 outdoor storage bins for outdoor junk, stepping stones, arches, etc.

And due to Covid 19 hubby Matt has a home office now and has been working from home for about a year!

I'll be sure to chronicle our adventures in the next couple of years as big changes are coming in our lives!
